Scope and our role

This Privacy Policy applies to information handled by EZApply.us through EZApply.us websites and services. It does not govern an independent lender, provider, lead aggregator, advertiser, or other third party. Those companies maintain their own privacy practices and are responsible for information they receive and process independently.

EzApply.us is not a lender. We operate a for-profit advertising and lead-generation service that receives consumer requests and may transmit them to participating lenders, providers, or lead aggregators to determine whether an offer or other option may be available.

Information we collect

• Contact and identity information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, date of birth, Social Security number, driver license information, citizenship confirmation, and other identity-verification details.
• Address and household information, such as street address, city, state, ZIP code, housing status, and time at your residence.
• Employment and income information, such as employment status, employer name and telephone number, job title, length of employment, income source, income range, pay frequency, and expected pay dates.
• Financial and request information, such as the amount requested, bank name, routing and account numbers, account type, deposit method, debt range, vehicle status, military status, and information about products or services requested, considered, or offered.
• Consent and compliance information, such as the disclosures shown to you, consent selections, timestamps, IP address, landing and referring pages, TrustedForm certificate URL, Jornaya LeadID, and records showing how a request moved through the form.
• Device and online activity information, such as browser and device type, user agent, IP address, cookies or session identifiers, pages viewed, links selected, form interactions, source and campaign parameters, affiliate and sub-IDs, and diagnostic or security events.
• Communications and privacy-request information that you provide when contacting us, requesting marketing suppression, opting out of sale or sharing, or exercising another privacy right.

Please do not send Social Security numbers, full bank-account information, passwords, or identity documents through ordinary email, a general contact message, or another unsecured channel.

Sources of information

• Directly from you when you visit the website, complete a request, communicate with us, or exercise a privacy choice.
• Automatically from your browser or device as you interact with the website.
• From affiliates, advertising sources, publishers, and referral partners that direct you to EzApply.us.
• From participating lenders, providers, lead aggregators, compliance vendors, consent-verification services, identity and fraud-prevention services, and other service providers where permitted by law.

How we use information

• Receive, validate, process, route, and respond to your request.
• Transmit a request to participating lenders, providers, or lead aggregators and present the next step returned by a recipient.
• Verify identity, contact, employment, income, banking, consent, eligibility, and information accuracy.
• Provide request-related records, notices, communications, customer support, and electronic disclosures.
• Send marketing communications where permitted by law and consistent with the consent presented to you.
• Detect duplicate submissions; prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity; and troubleshoot technical problems.
• Operate, secure, analyze, personalize, and improve our websites, forms, advertising, routing, and related services.
• Maintain consent, transaction, suppression, audit, accounting, and legal records and enforce our agreements.
• Comply with law, legal process, regulatory requests, audits, contracts, and obligations to participating companies.
• Evaluate or complete a financing, merger, acquisition, restructuring, bankruptcy, sale, or transfer involving all or part of the business.

How we disclose information

We may disclose personal information to participating lenders, financial-service providers, lead aggregators, marketing partners, affiliates, and other companies that may evaluate or respond to a request. A recipient may contact you, request additional verification, obtain a consumer report when authorized, or further use or disclose information under its own privacy policy and applicable law.

We may also disclose information to vendors that help us host and secure the website, process and route requests, validate data, document consent, prevent fraud, provide analytics or communications, administer privacy requests, maintain records, and perform professional, legal, accounting, or operational services.

Information may be disclosed when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, a government request, an audit or investigation, or to protect rights, safety, property, users, or the service. Information may also be transferred as part of a business transaction, subject to applicable law.

Sale or sharing of personal information

Because EzApply.us is a lead-generation and advertising service, transmitting request information to participating providers, lead aggregators, or marketing partners may be considered a “sale” of personal information under certain state privacy laws even when no money is paid for the information itself. Certain advertising or analytics activity may also be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising.

You may submit an opt-out request through the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. California residents can review additional disclosures in the California Privacy Notice. An opt-out is prospective and may not retract a transfer completed before we received the request.

EzApply.us does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

Privacy choices and state-law rights

Email, calls, and text messages

Email and phone/SMS communications are governed by the disclosures and consent choices presented with the request. Where you provide the applicable consent, EzApply.us and identified participating or marketing partners may contact you at the email address or telephone number provided, including through automated technology, an automatic telephone dialing system, or an artificial or prerecorded voice where permitted by law.

Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You may revoke marketing consent using a reasonable method or the Remove Me page. A suppression request may not stop communications already in progress, legally permitted non-marketing messages, or communications from an independent company that already received your information; contact that company directly regarding its communications.

Cookies and similar technology

We may use cookies, server logs, session storage, pixels, scripts, and similar technology to keep the website functioning, preserve attribution, document consent, protect the service, remember choices, measure performance, and understand interactions with forms and advertising. Consent-verification services may also use scripts or identifiers to create proof that disclosures were presented.

Browser settings may allow you to delete or block cookies. Blocking necessary cookies or storage may prevent parts of the request process, security controls, or privacy forms from working correctly. A browser-based privacy signal may apply only to the browser or device that sends it and may not identify information previously submitted through a form.

Credit and identity verification

A participating provider may obtain a credit report, alternative consumer report, or identity-verification information when it has a permissible purpose or your authorization. Depending on the inquiry, a credit check may affect your credit score. Review the Credit Authorization shown with the request and the provider’s disclosures for details.

EzApply.us may use automated rules or third-party services to validate information, detect fraud, prioritize or route requests, and determine which participating company should receive a request. Automated processing does not guarantee approval or any particular financial outcome.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including request processing, fraud prevention, duplicate detection, consent and transaction records, suppression lists, audits, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and enforcement of agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type and sensitivity of information, operational need, contractual obligations, and applicable law.

When full information is no longer needed, we may delete it, deidentify it, aggregate it, or retain limited hashed or suppression information needed to prevent duplicate activity, honor an opt-out, document compliance, or protect the service.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including HTTPS encryption in transit and controls intended to limit access to sensitive application data. Sensitive values may be encrypted before storage, and dashboard access may mask information unless an authorized administrator needs it for a permitted purpose.

No website, transmission, storage system, or security control can be guaranteed completely secure. Use a secure device and connection, do not share verification codes or passwords, and notify us through the Contact Us page if you believe information submitted through EzApply.us has been compromised.

Children

EzApply.us is intended for adults who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 through the request form. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us so we can review the request and take appropriate action.

Third-party websites and services

EzApply.us may link or redirect you to a lender, provider, advertiser, or other third-party website. We do not control and are not responsible for a third party’s security, content, privacy practices, communications, decisions, products, or agreements. Review the third party’s privacy policy and terms before providing additional information or accepting an offer.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices, services, or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted on EzApply.us with a revised effective date. We will provide any additional notice or obtain consent when required by law.
